  • Postdocs
A postdoctoral position is available in the Tedeschi/Sun Laboratory at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center.
The position is offered to study cellular and molecular mechanisms of brain and spinal cord injury. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree is required. Previous experience in cellular and molecular neuroscience, transgenic mice, neuron biology is preferred. Candidates with  prior experience in experimental models of brain and spinal cord injury, cutting-edge microscopy and electrophysiology as well as peer-reviewed publications will be prioritized.   • Research Assistant
We are seeking a Research Assistant - She/he manages our mouse colony (ear snipping, DNA extraction, genotyping, weaning etc.); maintains experimental records and laboratory documentation; performs research experiments (e.g., behavioral tests) in accordance with approved protocols; assists in analyzing data and preparing publications. Skills/Abilities: oral/written communication skills to discuss and document research progress. Ability to work accurately/independently and to problem solves technical and methodological issues that arise during the course of the research. Ability to apply sound research techniques, methodology and critical analysis. Strong organization and interpersonal skills.
